Breeding Programmes

The Irish Cob Society's breeding programmes—the Irish Cob Studbook Breeding Programme and the Irish Cob Part Bred Studbook Breeding Programme (previously Studbook Principles in Decision 92/353/EEC) are fundamentally based on the Irish Cob Breed Standard authored by Evelyn Flynn and the Irish Cob Part Bred Breed Standard authoroed by Evelyn Flynn, which Evelyn permitted the Irish Cob Society to use to establish the Irish Cob Studbook (the studbook of the origin of the breed) and the Irish Cob Part Bred Studbook (the studbook of the origin of the breed).​
